Who am I?

I believe art should exist beyond galleries—on the streets, in shared spaces, wherever it can make an impact. My goal is to create work that speaks to the world as it is while imagining something better.

I’m Roxanne Chaussalet aka Karpett. I studied Fine Arts at ESADHaR in Rouen, France, but my journey took an unexpected turn in 2020 when I left everything behind and moved to Berlin in the middle of the pandemic. I was searching for a place that matched my energy, a city that would give me the freedom to fully dedicate myself to my art and actually live from it.

I believe that art should disrupt, challenge, and connect. My work isn’t just about decoration—it’s about empowerment, community, and resistance. I create pieces that question the systems we live under, amplify marginalized voices, and push for change. Whether through large-scale murals, public installations, or intimate studio work, I aim to transform spaces and spark conversations.

Art should disrupt. Art should connect. Art should challenge. And that’s exactly what I intend to do.
