Suspended Gallery – Art as Connection
"Exceptional situations call for exceptional measures. Today, I’m launching my Suspended Gallery."
During the first lockdown in 2020, I found myself completely alone in my apartment, unable to go outside. To cope with isolation, I started drawing every day and hanging my artwork in my window.
One day, my neighbor across the street noticed the drawings. She asked if she could take pictures, and from then on, it became our daily ritual. Over time, we started talking every day—these small exchanges became my only real human contact during those months.
What began as a way to express myself in solitude turned into a bridge between strangers. Art created a connection where there was none before.
